Upgrade Your Membership — Become a Friend of AMSA
In addition to renewing your membership, consider making an extra contribution to AMSA by becoming a Friend of AMSA through contributing $125 for your memberships. The extra contribution enables us tremendously to cover operational costs and add services and support to members. Becoming a Friend of AMSA also allows you to receive a print version of The Journal of Men’s Studies at no additional cost. Sign up with your new or renewing membership by checking the “Friend of AMSA” box on the membership form.
Contribute to the Work of AMSA Through Your Gift
AMSA’s work to promote the academic study of masculinities and particularly the work of new scholars is furthered by the kind gifts of members and non-members alike. It’s easy to contribute to AMSA’s on-going work on-line.
The American Men’s Studies Association is a non-profit (501c3) organization. All gifts are fully tax deductible. Make an online contribution now through the secure ZAP Event.
Encourage Future Scholars Through The Loren Frankel Student Scholarship Fund
Members and friends of AMSA have raised approximately $10,000 toward the goal for AMSA’s endowed student scholarship fund, The Loren Frankel Student Scholarship Fund. Each year interest generated by the endowment is used to support students attending and presenting at AMSA’s annual men’s studies conference. This fund is a precious commitment to building the next generation of men’s studies scholars, therapists, and counselors. Contributions can be made when you renew your membership or separately at any time. Consider giving even a small amount to this fund this year. You can do so online along with your new or renewal membership or as a separate further statement of your support for this work at any time.
