Global Social Welfare: Research, Policy, and Practice is seeking articles for a special issue describing innovative efforts to engage men and boys in gender violence prevention from all regions of the world.
The journal brings together research that informs the fields of global social development and social welfare. It serves as an outlet for manuscripts and brief reports of interdisciplinary applied research, which advance knowledge about global threats to the wellbeing of individuals, groups, families and communities.
Submissions can include descriptions of outreach efforts, innovative programs, and effectiveness of these gender violence prevention efforts. The editors also welcome conceptual or theoretical papers, and systematic reviews that can expand understanding of the global efforts underway in this area.
For consideration in the special issue, please send an abstract describing the paper or any questions by September 30 to to Richard Tolman Managing Guest Editor . All manuscripts meeting the submission criteria as listed above will undergo blind peer review, and manuscripts should reflect the author(s) original work and be formatted according to current APA format as found in the APA Manual. Manuscripts should be 20-25 pages, double spaced. Further instructions for authors.
